Established in 2014, Woodland Environmental is a specialist environmental consultancy supporting projects across Queensland. Led by Director and Principal Environmental Engineer Alysha Woodland, the practice is built on over 20 years of consulting experience across local government, state government and private industry.

Alysha has over 20 years of environmental consulting experience and specialises in translating environmental requirements into practical actions that support successful project delivery. She focuses on identifying and managing environmental risks for projects where regulatory requirements, environmental protection and stakeholder expectations intersect.
She works closely with clients, contractors and regulators across Queensland to support the practical implementation of environmental requirements and maintain compliance throughout project delivery.
Alysha also mentors and supports junior staff and is a speaker in the sector, fostering capability development and a practical, solutions-focused approach to environmental consulting.
Our Team
Woodland Environmental is led by an experienced, hands on Director and supported by an in house team of environmental professionals, complemented by a trusted network of specialist consultants across key technical disciplines.
This integrated delivery model ensures senior expertise is directly involved in project delivery, with the right capability applied at the right stage of each project. It supports seamless coordination across planning, design, construction and operation.
We regularly collaborate with established specialists in ecology, erosion and sediment control, contaminated land, flooding and arboriculture to provide tailored, project-specific input where required.
This approach ensures coordinated, practical environmental services that are responsive to project needs and aligned with delivery requirements from inception through to completion.
